Tried & True Education is a truly unique team of individuals who have brought their diverse talents together in a creative way to impact students from groups that are traditionally underrepresented in postsecondary education.

We were founded in 2011 by an educator who had spent 10 years cutting his teeth in a wide range of educational settings, from programs benefiting low-income students, to classrooms for emotionally disturbed and autistic students, to one-on-one tutoring for the children of Hollywood celebrities.
We believe in ENGAGEMENT!
As educators, we have probably all heard the term “engagement” so many times that it has become meaningless and cliche. Not at Tried & True. From the beginning, we have been centered on the deeply held conviction that genuinely engaging students is the key to unlocking their potential.
This conviction (which is evident in our instructors, curriculum, and management team) has allowed us to work with tens-of-thousands of students in grant funded programs like TRIO, schools, and districts across the country.
This conviction has attracted a team that brings diverse talents in the fields of education, music, acting, writing, design, engineering, mathematics, and science to bear in every program we run. You can see our uniqueness in powerful programs like our Goal Achievement Series, our Science & Engineering Workshops, and our flagship STEAM Escape Room.
